The Launch Plan

Eight weeks, one destination: your first closed deal. Weeks 1–5 build the engine — database, habits, skills. Weeks 6–8 drive it to a payday. Business-building first; housekeeping labeled as housekeeping.

How to use this plan: items marked Essential sit at the top of every week — they're the business itself, so do those even in a five-hour week. Everything else is here for when you have the capacity, and your coach helps you choose what fits. Building Double Duty around a job or family? These weeks stretch to your timeline — the order matters more than the speed. And if you notice your real-estate time going to getting ready to do real estate, just come back to the activities that create opportunities: people, conversations, and appointments.

Week 1 — plant the flag

Build the business

Housekeeping — knock it out, don't camp here

Week 2 — the rhythm starts

Build the business

Housekeeping

Week 3 — out loud, in public

Build the business

No housekeeping this week. That's the point — you're in rhythm now.

Week 4 — first swings

Build the business

Week 5 — the pipeline is real

Build the business

Weeks 1–5 complete? That's the launch milestone. You're ahead of the average new agent — and if you're on the supported model, your company-dollar split changes in your favor: call (317) 882-5900 to confirm your new split. Now don't stop — the payday phase starts below.
Weeks 1–5 built the engine. Now drive it down the funnel — both sides of it. Buyer side: conversations → buyer appointments → signed Buyer Exclusive Agency agreements. Seller side: conversations → listing appointments → signed listing agreements. Agreements become pended deals; pendings become closings; closings become paydays. None of it runs on a fixed calendar — clients move when clients move — so weeks 6–8 are the pattern, not a deadline. The one thing you control is the top of the funnel: keep the conversations and appointments flowing and the rest becomes inevitable. (Supported-model agents: finishing weeks 1–5 is what changes your split — the milestone above… then keep going.)

Week 6 — appointments become agreements

Build the business

Week 7 — agreements become pendings

Build the business

Week 8 — close the loop

Build the business

Eight weeks in — look at what exists now. A growing database, follow-up that runs itself, appointments on the calendar, and a deal (or the makings of one) moving through the system. You know why you're building this business, how much capacity you have, who's already in your world, how conversations create opportunities, where to go for support, and what to focus on next. Keep the Week 8 rhythm going — the rhythm is the job.
