Office how-to · Command, piece by piece
Log a conversation in 60 seconds
The Launch Plan says "log it in Command" a dozen times — this is what that means. Do it right after every real conversation, from your phone, before you start the car.
- Open the contact in the Command App — Contacts icon, search the name.
- Add a note with what actually happened. Two sentences: what you talked about, and anything with legs ("sister might sell in spring", "hates their commute"). Guide: Add a Note in the Command App.
- Create the next task before you close the app. Every conversation ends with a date: "check in after their vacation", "send the market stats Friday". A note without a next task is a memory; a task is a pipeline. Guide: Create Contact Tasks.
- Adjust tags if the conversation changed anything — "buyer-2026", "downsizing", "past-client". Tags are how you find these people again. Guide: Add or Remove Tags.
Why the fuss? Your Week 8 coaching debrief reads this data to find what's working — and eight weeks of logged conversations is a business plan. Eight weeks of unlogged ones is a rumor.
