Submit a commission request in Command

Once your client's offer is accepted, this is how the money side gets set in motion. Ten minutes of careful entry here saves days of back-and-forth with the MCA team later.

  1. Open the Opportunity. In Command, click the Opportunities icon, find your deal's phase, and click the Opportunity title. (On a team? Make sure you're in the right account first.)
  2. Click the "Offers & Commissions" tab at the top. You need an accepted offer on the Opportunity before Command will let you submit.
  3. Check General Information: sales price, total units, contract date, closed date. Edit → Save Changes if anything's off — these drive everything below.
  4. Fill in Commission Information: commission rate, any co-broker (percent or amount, with brokerage details), outside referrals, concessions (with who pays), and bonuses.
  5. Set up Agent Payment: your split percentages, inside referrals if any, and deductions (KW Cares, BOLD scholarship, custom). This is where mistakes hide — slow down here.
  6. Add contingencies if the contract has them (+ Add Contingency, with due and completed dates).
  7. Review the Summary panel on the right — it flags balance problems before the MCA team has to. Add a note for leadership if anything needs explaining, then click Submit.
  8. Then tell the office: submit your DA Request so the MCA team preps your Disbursement Authorization. Command request + DA form together = a smooth closing table.
Heads up — submitting locks things. Once submitted, the Opportunity moves to the Closed phase and the market center, contact, commission rate, contract date, and closed date can no longer be edited. Get them right first; if something must change after, call the MCA team.
